Yes this is the June instalment of The Next Big Thing

Bands from Wellington grace the stage on the High Street in Masterton. Come along to Mahi Tahi Tatou (opposite the MasterBowl) for 4 amazing bands, each band plays for 40 minutes showcasing their original music live.

• Trent Graham – solo (Masterton/Palmerston North) Shadowcaster front man
• The Sun Kings – from Wellington
• Donal & the Bucks
• Jeff & the Angry Stick

Doors at 6.30pm

**Trent Graham – (Shadowcaster front man and local musician)**
Trent Graham (solo) from the band Shadowcaster, a Masterton local and stalwart of our music scene. Come along early for some solo vibes from Trent.

**The Sun Kings – from Wellington**
Their musical feet are grounded in indie rock and are most at home live, belting out their originals and not caring to catch up with current musical trends; firmly eschewing fame and fortune to focus on artistic purity (or something). The band are Claire Fraser (vocals), Andy Marsh (guitar and vocals), Steve Hughes (bass), Andy Galinski (guitar), and with Matt Whimp (drums).

**Donal and the Bucks – Wellington/Ireland**
Donal and his band have made it through to The National Final of Battle of the Bands, come out and support this touring musician and his band.

Your hosts – Jeff & the Angry Stick
Need no introduction, 2023 National Finalists of Battle of the Bands and joint winner of most passionate performer. Come down and have a boogie, meet some out of town musicians and fill your mind with new music.

4 for $20 what is not to like.
