What is The Next Big Thing?

Monthly live music, popping up in the heart of Masterton at our current home at Mahi Tahi Tātou, 21 Queen Street, Masterton.

The Next Big Thing is a project by local band Jeff & the Angry Stick to bring back local original music to Masterton.

Each month we curate, interview and select musicians and bands for a pop up gig in Masterton. We create a venue for one night only.

We know that local New Zealand music rocks. You just have to come out, take a risk just and rediscover the magic of live, down and dirty DIY gigs. We are the thrift store of music where you can find a treasure or two at a bargain price.

And just like that treasure in the thrift shop, you just might discover The Next Big Thing.
